Hi guys!

This post may not make a whole lot of sense to the reader. Steve was away last week at a training camp and did some life management stuff. It relates to what your overall personal visions are and how you can break that down into smaller more manageable goals. You start by dreaming big. You know, if you had absolutely no time restrains, financial or circumstantial limits, what would you do/be. You can develop up to six. Then you start to break those down into smaller goals which are workable at a daily level.

I thought I'd blog it so that if anyone had any thoughts/comments, that they could give me some feedback.

Deep breath - here we go. This is a pretty deep level of sharing for me...

VISION

Family - I am a wife and mother who is committed to warm, loving and emotionally strong relationships with my husband and children. I am actively helping them develop ever deepening relationships with God, myself and each other. My marriage to be a "three-fold cord that is not easily broken" (Ecc 4:12) and I bestow upon my children a "sincere faith" as Lois did for Timothy (2 Tim 1:5) - FUEL Having a fun partner to grow old and wrinkly with. Having emotionally well adjusted kids

Professional - I am a school counsellor involved in early intervention and support for students with special needs. For these children I am involved in training "up a child in the way they should go (so that) when he is old he will not depart from it (Prov 22:6) - FUEL Achieving a long-term goal

Physical - I am a slim, fit and healthy woman who enjoys physical activity from walking, swimming, and working out at the gym. Knowing that my body is "a temple of the Holy Spirit" I "honour God with (my) body" (1 Cor 6:19-20) FUEL - Dropping kgs

Musical - I am a member of the Australian Opera Chorus knowing that God has plans to "prosper me, to give (me) a hope and a future" (Jer 29:11) - FUEL The joy of singing

Spiritual - I have a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and direct access to my Father in heaven. I open the door and keep it open when Jesus "knocks" (Rev 3:20) - FUEL - Apart from Him I am nothing - knowing I am dependent on Jesus

Ministry - I have a home that reflects my personality and is a safe haven in which is warm and open to others. Just as the Shunammite woman provided a resting place for Elisha, I provide a resting place for all who enter my home (2 Kings 4:10) FUEL - Having a place of warmth and comfort to share with others

heya, congrats you have made a plan :)
It won't always be easy but you will know you are achieving each day you carry it out. Keep at it we are all praying for you to achieve your aims.
By the way why are you up at 3.30am?
Perhaps a commitment to reasonably early nights would be helpful to include as well. Luv you
