1.11.07

Woke up late this morning. Bolted down breakfast and missed out on a shower (ew1) Steve arrived with Caleb and stayed for a cup of tea. Once he left, we headed over to meet Amy and Ella.

We drove to Wollongong, parked the car at Crown Central and walked down to see Dr D. He was running later than we were (we had to stop to change Ella and, of course, get coffee!) and showed up about 15 minutes after we arrived. We talked about Steve, drugs and St John of God. He filled out mum's carers form and looked at my discharge papers. Pretty standard really.

After finishing up with Dr D, we walked back into Wollongong and had lunch in the food court. Amy fed Ella and then we looked in Pumpkin Patch. I LOVE their stuff. I picked out the kids Christmas outfits... its going to cost me just over $200. There's a reason why they only get an outfit at Christmas and one on their birthdays!

We went over to Myer so that Amy could look for a dress for the weddings she is going to on the weekend. I bought myself a cute little notebook, binder and pen all-in-one set up. Then Caleb and I went for a coffee while mum and Amy shopped some more. Amy found her dress and was very pleased with herself! We had more coffee (my definition of a good day!) and stopped at an accessories shop so that Amy could bling up her outfit. Last stop was the Body Shop....which I LOVE. I bought some strawberry soap and some strawberry shower gel. HEAVEN!

We drove home and took Caleb back to the house. He was SUCH a good boy today apart from a brief spat around 3pm because he was overtired. It consisted of him chucking his chips on the ground, followed by his hat. He sat in his pram and grunted for ten minutes or so and that was about it! I am so blessed to have him as a third child. He is such an easy going kid. He spent the whole trip home trying to keep himself awake looking for "cows", "trucks", talking to "ella", chucking "dummy" on the floor and "hi-five"ing "Nannie".

I stuck around while the kids had their dinner, which the girls were very happy about. Hannah is over the moon about spending the day with me tomorrow. She is planning on bringing her teddy book and an assortment of toys with her.

I am really tired now. I did over 6000 steps yesterday and I haven't a clue how many I have done today because I somehow managed to hit the reset button on my pedometer :( I've had a talk to mum about depression management too so that she can help me with the rough times. I had a bit of a wobbly one last night and talked it out with Steve. But I can't expect to be doing that anymore. Our relationship has changed and I need to remember that.

Well that's it for me today. I am going to veg out for the rest of the night!
