Well I am swamped in study at the moment. I went into TAFE on Monday to check out what I still had to do this semester (I only have two weeks left and then two weeks of prac) to find out I still had six modules to do (that's a module a week) doh! So here I am procrastinating instead of studying. He he. No, really I am being a good girl. I am halfway through my second module in three days!
So exciting times are a coming. After I finish my study haul, I will have two weeks work placement at a local preschool and then I think I will organise another trip to Tamworth to see my precious kids again.
Open day was lovely - it also coincided with my birthday... yay! We watched Hannah in her reading groups and made origami with Leah. Leah played in the school band and sung in the school choir while Hannah did a phonics presentation with the kindys... A, a, ants on my arm, its causing me alarm! She was so cute. And to top it off, Leah received a special education week award for love of learning. We were so surprised, because she often isn't the easiest kid to manage in class, but so proud of her.
As soon as I work out how to get pictures of my phone, I will post some photos.
And I am not moving to Canberra now :( It was going to cost me too much of my income (over half) just to rent and as much as I wanted the job, there were too many niggly little things that were just not right about the whole situation. So I am looking for work closer to home.
Oh well, back to the books I suppose!
