Back to School

Hi there! It has been a crazy couple of weeks, but in a good way!

I had the kids come and stay with me for 10 days and we had a ball! We did the usual holiday stuff, cooking, watching DVDs, going shopping, going to the park, Bounce and Slide and to the cinema to see Kung Fu Panda - which Leah loved and Hannah wasn't so crash hot on. The only down point was that Hannah and Caleb were a bit fluy towards the end of their stay..

They enjoyed the travelling to a certain extent too. Caleb even stood up in his booster and turned around to try and get the passing truck's attention "cuse me truck" Little rascal!

Its a bit empty now that they are gone and I'm looking forward to my visit to Tamworth for Hannah's birthday at the end of August.

I did get some photos and I promise to upload them just as soon as they are downloaded from the camera!

I was also asked a week ago to join WOFTAM's production of Cats as a pit singer. For those of you who don't remember, WOFTAM was the company I did Les Mis with in 2006. I was over the moon to be asked but sad when I realised that I couldn't do it. It meant one trip a week to Campbelltown and back (maybe more) and I just couldn't afford the petrol at this stage. Especially with Hannah's birthday coming up. So that opportunity has slipped out of my hands and I am on the lookout for a production that I can get involved with locally - I hope.

Anyway, I hope that this post finds you all well!
