Let the whirlwind begin!

OK. Its been a while since my last post. Sorry (insert blushing smilie in here). And alot has happened. Where to start?

Well, we could start with my news.

I am moving. In a fortnight. To Armidale.

I got an email at the end of business on Friday saying that the owners had approved my application for a cabin in a motel/caravan park setting, just outside of Armidale. (For the locals, its kind of Nowra to Waterslea distance). Providing that they are willing to wait a fortnight (which I am still waiting to hear on) and providing that the Dept Housing come to the party, I will be moving to Armidale at the end of October.

This will put me only an hour or so away from the kids. (For the locals again, that's from Nowra to Wollongong distance). I have also put in an audition for entry into the Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Teaching. Although if I don't get in, I will just continue on in my Bachelor of General Studies/Bachelor of Teaching.

I am starting to get a little excited about the whole process. I have been online tonight looking at churches and community groups that I could get involved with. Its looking quite promising.

I had the kids come and stay with me for 10 days just recently, during the school holidays. We spent three or four days in Canberra and then came home to Nowra. It was a great time and for the most part they were so well behaved. They each have their issues to content with (well, not Caleb so much) but it was so lovely just having them close. A couple of nights there I had all three of them in bed with me and it was so nice just to be able to watch them sleep.

It was very sad having to take them home...

Ummm.... Katoomba Women's Convention was good too. I was very challenged in a few areas of my life. And it was a great excuse to get to know some of the women in my church a little better too.

And as for Tim... that was a bit of a fizzer. Things didn't work out. So I have moved on.

Sorry it has take so long for an update... I will try to make it sooner between posts next time!
