I have had the kids with me for the past two and a half weeks over Christmas and it has been great. The kids were thoroughly spoiled and I am thoroughly worn out, but it has been worth it. We have done the park thing, the movie thing, the visiting friends thing, the beach thing, the barbeque thing, the catching up with family thing. It has been lovely.
It has also been challenging as I have had to redefine my parenting. With the kids pushing the limits in order to find out what goes at mummy's house it has been straining at times. But we have got there in the end.
