21.11.07

Went into town to see my counsellor today. She's really good. We talked about a few things. Mainly how to build a relationship with my mother...

Had lunch at Amy's place and came home to move some things into the back room (my room)
and to tidy up the other rooms that I had been using.

Packed for hospital. And there's a story in itself...

I rang the hospital early last week to ask for admission. They said there was a waiting list and that they would put me on it.

Got a phone call on Monday saying that I was getting to the top of the list and that there should be a bed for me in the next couple of days. I just needed to get my referal in for the psychiatrist. What's that, you mean you don't already have it? I asked my psychiatrist's secretary to get it done last week.

Ring the psychiatrist secretary. No she hasn't faxed the referral yet.

Rang again today. Yeah, yeah, faxing it now. Got a call from the hospital saying that they had received the fax, that they would chase down a psychiatrist and would admit me to hospital as soon as a bed came up.

It took that damned secretary almost a week from when my psych wrote the referral to when the hospital got it!

But there's more.

About two weeks ago, I went online to the Medibank Private website. I changed my banking details from direct debit (St George) to direct debit (Comm bank). I was looking at my St George account tonight to discover that they had tried to take a payment out my of St George account. Of course, it bounced because the money wasn't in there.

I can't make a manual payment yet because I don't get paid until Saturday (the Comm bank dd was set to come out on Monday) so when the hospital checks my fund, I am going to come back as being UNFINANCIAL

Which means even if they find me a bed I am going to have to wait until MONDAY before I can be admitted because until I get paid on SATURDAY I can do SFA about it!

It seems to be my fate to be screwed around...

I just want to go to hospital to get sorted out!

And all for a lousy $106 bucks!

So that's me for today....
