Getting into shape

I joined the gym today. Yay!! Its been 18 months since I have been to the gym and it is so good to be back!

I didn't do much today. I missed the Balance class because I was sorting out my membership so I ended up doing some weights and cardio. 15 minutes on the treadmill at 3.5km an hour in 5 minute invervals, some lat pulldowns, leg curls, bicep curls and leg press. Not much, but slowly, I will get there. I'd rather take it easy than push myself too hard and not be able to go back for a week.

I have an appointment on Wednesday with one of the trainers who will put together a proper program for me.

So here I am. I am starting at 133kg (Shhhh don't tell anyone!) In a month's time I want to be able to fit into the size 22 jeans I bought the other day that don't quite fit me at the moment. And I'm only going to weigh in monthly. I have no kg goal for the first month, I just want to see how much I will lose in the first month.

I died my hair last night too. I has a nice reddy tinge to it now.

So here's the new me.

I can't wait to go to Pump tomorrow afternoon!
